Through a simple glance at their photos, you can easily see how fun and lively our bride and groom are. Their modern day love story left us in awe. Cynthia and John first met at a 'Coffee & Cars' event through her work with Weissach & Lamborghini on a sunny Saturday morning. Their passion for cars found the couple together again, reconnecting at another event where they found themselves in a gaze and conversation with themselves in a room surrounded by people. Bumping into each other at events and chatting through the night seemed to be a common occurrence, then, one day, Cynthia received a box of wine at her doorstep from John. She was swept off her feet at how sweet it was that he remembered she loved wine and ice wine. After that, with the often 'bump in's together, it seemed like fate taking its course, and she knew he was a keeper!
Cynthia and John's wedding took place at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier in North Vancouver. They specifically chose this location so they could have an ocean view for their ceremony, and the venue also had the most perfect, elegant, patio for their special day. Not to mention the hotel was near the pier, which was excellent for their wedding photos.
"The best part of my wedding day was the moment I stepped out on the aisle with my mom and dad and saw Johnny at the end with all our friends and family, how amazing that feeling was and how I was able to share that with everyone I love and care for." - Cynthia
When helping Cynthia decide what type of gown to purchase she was torn between two silhouettes. She wanted to show her beautiful curves while showing her fun side with a gorgeous ball gown. Cynthia narrowed down to two dresses that she fell in love with and decided to get both! There was no way choosing which one! She walked down the aisle in a gown that showed off her bubbly and outgoing personality, 'Londyn' by Hayley Paige. The sweetheart neckline complimented her bodice, and the iconic multi-layered skirt with the horsehair trip captured the "Wow-factor" Cynthia was looking for. She had all eyes on her as she walked down the aisle.
For Cynthia's reception gown, she chose the 'Paris' by Ti Adora. The trumpet silhouette wrapped her body beautifully, along with elegant lace that overlapped the gown. The change in gowns was a great surprise for her guests and husband.
