Blush Bride - Caroline

I can’t even begin to tell you, how obsessed I am with this wedding! Not only because Caroline was an absolute bundle of joy to work with but because Caroline and Simon’s wedding had all the components of a dream farm wedding!

Simon and Caroline met in 2011 through a close friend. After a few group dinners and double dates at a particular sports bar where Simon attempted to teach her rugby (still attempting...), they quickly couldn't help but fall for each other.

Fast forward to their engagement, Simon and Caroline had their hearts set on celebrating their special day at the Birds Eye Cove in Genoa Bay, Duncan BC. Featured with a beautiful rustic open outdoor ceremony incorporating complementing colours and florals such as navy, deep raspberry, greenery and ferns for decor. Birds Eye Cove embodied both the beautiful outdoors along with elegance in the reception hall.  

"Our favourite part about the wedding was having all of our favourite people from around the world all make the trek out to Vancouver Island for us. It was very humbling and we felt so lucky.

From a bride side, my favourite part was seeing Si’s face as I walked down the aisle. It made my heart melt. Luckily, I had waterproof mascara on." Says Caroline.

What makes this wedding even more precious is the way Caroline felt and looked in her wedding gown! The twirling and smiles we saw in her photos in her Hayley Paige, ‘Decklyn’ gown left us swooning. The Decklyn ball gown has a polished v-neckline and a chic open back with cut-out detail along with a fun and modern skirt.
